The Seven Pillars for a Philosophy of Ministry,
explained in Our Philosophy,
work hand in hand with our central message. This
message is the Christ Life. Simply put, Jesus Christ
is sufficient for all our needs. The victorious
Christian life is a result of surrender to Him and
allowing His will, work, and way to be done in our
lives. This central message is communicated through
our church logo, which represents the four distinctives
of the ministry God has given us as seen in Galatians
2:20-21.
The
Cross
The cross defines how we relate to ourselves.
The cross represents the crucified life, dying
to self and allowing Jesus to reign as Lord
of our lives ("I have been crucified with
Christ; and it is no longer I who live,...").
The
Dove
The dove defines how we relate to the body.
The dove represents the Spirit-filled and
the Spirit-gifted life, yielding ourselves
to God and allowing His power and gifts to
work in and through us ("...but Christ lives
in me;...").
The
Open Bible
The Bible defines how we relate to God.
The open Bible represents the transformed
life, cultivated through me getting into the
Word of God and God’s Word getting into me
("and the life which I now live in the flesh
I live by faith in the Son of God,...").
The
Open Window
The window defines how we relate to the world.
The open window represents a view of the world
God loves and has called us to reach with
the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ ("...who
loved me, and delivered Himself up for me.
I do not nullify the grace of God;...").
