Classes

Sunday Mornings

We here at Woodland Park wish to assist your desire to connect with other believers in a small, more intimate setting. We want to make this part of your journey an enjoyable one. Your personal growth, your ability to connect with others in our church family, and helping you find your place in the church are all priorities for us. For that reason, we want to invite you to consider connecting with a Bible Fellowship class.

It is truly our heartbeat and goal to enable people to travel from the “large community” of worship to the “small community” of Bible Fellowships. The reason? Relationships are formed in small groups of people, AND personal spiritual growth best occurs there.

Sunday Evenings

The acrostic “SOD” stands for “School of Discipleship.” The soil analogy draws on Jesus’ parable of the sower where we are taught that the seed of God’s word bears fruit when it is sown in the good soil of a teachable heart. SOD is aimed at equipping believers in their personal walk with God, as well as moving them toward ministry. Each term focused electives are offered to meet people where they are in their relationship with Christ, with the ambition of helping them be that good soil Jesus spoke of and live lives of fruitfulness. We hope you will take advantage of these practical opportunities to grow in your faith.

Wednesdays

Wednesdays offer both morning and evening classes. We host women’s Bible studies on Wednesday mornings during the fall and spring semesters. You can also join us on Wednesday nights for Oasis, an island of spiritual refreshment in the midst of your busy week. Like SOD, each term has focused electives offered to bring you closer in your walk with God.
