Haywood is one of the newest members or the Elder Council having been ordained as an Elder in September of 2004 serving as an Elder at Large. Haywood has been an integral part of the ministry of Woodland Park for a number of years. Since joining Woodland Park in 1993, he served on the Pastoral Staff as the Associate Pastor for five years. He and his wife, June, reside in the East Brainerd area and have three children and six grandchildren.
