John is one of the newest members of the Elder Council having been ordained as an Elder in September of 2004 serving as an Elder at Large. He has been attending Woodland Park for over 14 years, becoming a member in 1991. He served a number of years in AWANA as a leader and director for Pals/Pioneers and is a 1998 graduate of the Timothy School. Since 2000, he has been a teacher in the Marriage Adventure Bible Fellowship. One of his major interests is discipling other believers to strengthen their walk with Christ. He and his wife, Joy, have three children.
