Children

We have a purpose for each of the ministries we offer to children at Woodland Park Baptist Church. Here is a snap shot of what we do and why.

• Kids4Truth – Kid style worship with a focus on age-applicable life change
• Sunday School – Interactive Bible study and fellowship
• AWANA – Hides God’s Word in their hearts and a focus on small group time
• Kidz On a Mission – The outlet for kid service and worship through missions and music.

These are not four separate programs but rather they represent the four-step process we use to move your child from newcomer to Disciple. Children are NOT the church of tomorrow. They are the church of today. Is your child getting what he/she needs to become a disciple?

The Children’s Ministry serves the children and families who come to Woodland Park through these specialized ministries and classes. Our curriculum and programs used are not only biblical but also are geared toward explaining what a personal relationship with Christ is, growing a love for Him, and demonstrating how to surrender to and rely on Jesus Christ for daily living. And all this is done in an inviting way for children-through fun!
