Children's
Ministry - Nursery Ministry
The Nursery Ministry serves children ages two
and below. It provides loving childcare during
the 9:00 and 10:45 AM Sunday morning services,
Sunday evening classes, the Sunday evening service,
and Wednesday evening classes. Staffed by qualified,
trained workers and parent volunteers, this ministry
believes that children begin learning about God
from birth. As a result, it seeks to teach the
children about Him through love, God’s Word,
and care for both the children and their families.
In addition, it has a security system and an
allergy alert system in place to provide the
best possible care for our children. The nursery
is located on the first floor of the education
building.
Infants/Babies
All infants in this room are cared for by permanent
adult caregivers and parent volunteers. We will
feed your infant according to your instructions.
No snacks are given in this room. A Nursing Mother’s
room (located outside our Infant room) is provided
for the privacy of our moms.
Crawlers
Once your child begins to crawl, they will be
promoted. These rooms have adult caregivers as
well as parent volunteers. An appropriate snack
is provided for the toddlers.
Toddlers
Children who begin walking are promoted to the
Toddler room. Toys and videos as well as snacks
are provided.
Two's
Children in the two year old room begin the four-year
Discipleland process of walking through the entire
Bible. These children are cared for by adults
and teens. Snacks are provided.
Security
System
Our security system prevents anyone other than
the parent from picking up a child. When you
bring your child, we ask that you fill out a
sticker telling the child’s name as well as your
name and location. Place the sticker on your
child’s back and you keep the stub. This stub
MUST be returned to the teacher to pick up your
child. Pagers are provided for all babies and
crawlers, and for any parents who would like
to request one at the front desk.
