College
Ministry
Thirsty, the College Ministry of Woodland Park,
as represented by its title, is based on John
7:37, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to
Me and drink.” This ministry builds on the truth
that our greatest fulfillment and purpose is
found only in Christ. It then explores how to
know, love and enjoy God and how to allow our
satisfaction in Him to overflow into every personal
relationship and life decision.
The group is geared toward college students from
various area schools as well as young adults
from ages 17 to 22. It meets at 10:45 AM on Sunday mornings in
Room 164 for
a time of teaching and small
group discussion. It also meets individually
in small mentoring groups throughout the week.
The main purpose of THIRSTY is to develop relationships as we learn about our Savior. One of the best ways to accomplish this is to get involved in a small group Bible study. Each semester we offer multiple opportunities to connect with a small group. If you are interested in learning about a certain book of the Bible or just to get down the “fundamentals” of what you believe while you establish a great group of friends, this is the place for you!
