The
Connection Ministry serves those who come to
Woodland Park by meeting, connecting, and involving
them. It accomplishes this through several specialized
ministries and classes that serve a variety of
purposes-such as providing helpful information
to visitors, directing parking lot traffic, defining
the church’s philosophy and the steps for church
membership, guiding a believer through baptism,
and advising how someone can become involved
in ministry. For more information, please contact
the Connections Ministry at 423.899.9186, x116.
Opportunities available in the Connections Ministry
include:
The
Parking Crew is available to serve-rain
or shine-every Sunday. It assists with parking,
greets and directs those entering the church
facilities, and provides security during
the services.
Greeters can
be found at each entrance every Sunday morning
and are available to greet and answer questions.
The
Welcome Team extends a warm welcome
to those attending the church on Sunday mornings
and helps to guide those needing assistance.
Ushers assist
during all Sunday services and help by greeting,
seating, answering questions, and receiving
the church offering.
The
Ministry to Visitors provides follow-up
for those who visit Woodland Park . It contacts
them, answers their questions, gives helpful
information, and directs them to an appropriate
small group where they can connect with others
in the church.
Connection
Classes are offered for those who
desire to become members of Woodland Park -
or those who wish to know more about our church

The
Engagement Strategy is the approach
used to engage those desiring to be involved
in ministry and service at Woodland Park .
This approach seeks to connect the individual’s
spiritual giftedness and passion with the various
ministry needs in our church body, as the Lord
leads.
