Habitat for Humanity
of Greater Chattanooga
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga is
a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization
that has been building simple, decent and affordable
homes in Chattanooga, Tennessee, since 1986.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga partners
with volunteers and low income families to build
affordable housing. The houses are sold to these
families at no profit and with no interest. Volunteers
provide most of the labor, while individuals
and corporate donors provide money and materials
to build Habitat houses. Partner families themselves
invest hundreds of hours of labor - "sweat equity" -
into building their homes and the homes of others.
Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund
for Humanity that is used to build more houses.

Harvest USA
Harvest USA is a ministry of truth and mercy, proclaiming Christ as Lord to a sexually broken world. Our mission is to partner with and equip the Church in bringing the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to transform the lives of those affected by sexual sin. We want to encourage and equip the church to see sexual sin as a gospel issue—therefore a gospel opportunity. One of the primary volunteer opportunities at HARVEST USA involves the Church Ambassador Program, which links the ministry of HARVEST USA to the local church. The Church Ambassador is a volunteer who has a desire to see his or her local congregation begin to effectively address issues of sexual brokenness and sin within the church and community.

Helping Make a Difference
Helping Make A Difference is a group of Christian men and women, of every age group, that seeks to serve Christ by serving others. Our objective is simple: To help those who cannot help themselves, either financially or physically, in addressing needed home repairs. All work is done at no cost to the recipients. For the most part, those who are being helped with needed home repairs are widows with limited income and physical limitations. However, our mission also includes helping single parent mothers, expectant mothers and others that make hard choices each month whether to purchase food, medicine or simply pay bills.
This mission sometimes involves simple tasks such as raking yards, cleaning gutters, changing light bulbs, fixing water leaks, etc. Or, more complex projects such as repairing or replacing roofs, painting, repairing walls, constructing wheelchair ramps, etc. This group of Christian men and women join hands during the week and on various weekends to work and enjoy the Christian fellowship of each other, and at the same time, serve our Savior by serving others.
If you would like to be a part of this organization either by providing manpower, tools, or building materials, please visit
