Through
the years the exciting news of the gospel has transformed lives. Jesus
Christ provided a “bridge” for us by his death on the cross. We can’t
do it. Christianity isn’t about doing. Jesus has “done” it for us. Our
choice is to admit our faults, believe that Christ is who he said he
is (John 14:6) and confess that we can’t do this alone. As men we need
something in our lives to lead us and take over. Jesus Christ is the
answer and the Bible is our playbook!
Bridges are designed to bring things together. Bridges connect land,
roads and people. At Woodland Park we believe that as men our lives are
the "bridges" for the gospel. A bridge-builder is a man who has made
a commitment to understand people with different backgrounds and beliefs
in order to make Christianity relevant to these people by being Christ’s
ambassador right where he is:
- Building Bridges by leading his home as an authentic man
- Building Bridges with how he does his work unto the Lord
- Building Bridges thru his community and helping others
- Building Bridges to tell others of the good news of Christ
- Building Bridges at Woodland Park by serving and leading
There are many ways for men to “plug in” at Woodland Park. We are all
