Habitat for Humanity Project Day
BridgeBuilders is partnering with Inside/Out Ministry at Woodland Park and Habitat for Humanity for a Day Project on Saturday, August 23. This is wonderful ministry opportunity for all Woodland Park members and friends you want to invite to help. Poll your Sunday school class, small group or fellowship to come as a group and spend time together helping others. Location details are to follow. The minimum age is 16. Volunteers may work half-days of 9:00am-Noon, 1:00-3:30pm, or a full-day of 9:00am-3:30pm. If working a full-day shift, please remember to bring your lunch with you.

BridgeBuilder Summer Golf Challenge
Tired of watching the pros and want to compete with the best at Woodland Park? Well, this is place to show your A game and bring some friends with you. We are proud to host this event at Eagle Bluff Golf Club of Chattanooga on Saturday, August 9th starting at 9am. We do need to know the names of those participating so we can plan on your lunch. So contact us two ways, either thru men@woodlandpark.org or by calling us at 423.899.9186 x105 to let us know who all you are bringing with you. Dads bring your sons (16 and older) and invite your friends-guys in your Sunday School classes or small groups. Cut off for registering is August 6th. Maybe you can't make this event but you would want to be part of BridgeBuilders Golf Ministry? Let us know. We will be hosting monthly events this fall.

BridgeBuilders Fall Kickoff Event
On Wednesday, August 20th, all men of Woodland Park are invited for a Fall Kickoff that will feature a keynote from David Lawson of Precept Ministries, information about Men's Classes for the Fall to learn more about being an authentic man, opportunities to serve, special presentation by Bernie Ritterbush with Men's Ministry Network on Iron Sharpens Iron and much more. It all starts at 6:30pm in Room 157. Come out and see what is on the Gameplan for the fall and join up!

Looking for a way to connect with men on Sunday mornings? Join the Fleming Men Bible Fellowship as they meet at 9:00am at the Coker Barn just off campus. The class is currently studying 2 Thessalonians.

Living Beyond My Wounds
Living Beyond My Wounds will be forming men’s small group classes this fall. If you have painful or hurting wounds at this season of life, please allow us to walk with you thru this. The Bible refers to the relationship of men as Iron Sharpening Iron. It signifies two people working thru things. Isolation is not designed by God. We were created for community. Promise Keepers 2008
Promise Keepers is coming to Atlanta at New Birth Church on August 1-2, 2008 and Bridge Builders will be taking a group to the event. For a list of speakers, costs, and more information, please visit the Promise Keepers in Atlanta, GA resource page. The deadline for discounted registration is June 29. Contact the church for more hotel information. We will be meeting in early July to discuss travel and schedule. We will be leaving on Friday, August 1 at 1:00pm and returning on Saturday evening at 8:00pm.

Iron Sharpens Iron
Iron Sharpens Iron is coming back to Chattanooga and to the Brainerd BX This day event is an excellent way to gather with like minded men in the Tennessee Valley from all churches to focus on Jesus Christ. It all begins at 8:30am on Saturday, September 13 and you will be in your car headed home by 5pm. Be thinking of whom you can invite and go with! BridgeBuilders will be there with one breakout featuring some of the men involved with Men's Fraternity at Woodland Park. There will be excellent keynotes featuring Greg Vaughn, author of Letters from Dad and Phil Downer of DNA Ministries who has spoke at Woodland Park in the past. Plus many breakout sessions featuring many options for learning. There will be vendors there and lunch is optional. Register with the men of Woodland Park to get your discount and if you are interested in lunch it will cost $8.00 and will be served there at the Brainerd BX. CBMC
CBMC is a local way for men to connect here in Chattanooga during the week. The CMBC Web Site will provide you not only with a list of weekday meetings in town but also, if you are looking for employment, a way to join the Men in Transition group that meets on Monday mornings at Country Place Restaurant on Shallowford Road. This link will also provide you with monthly outreach luncheons you can invite friends to.
