Mission Conference
The next Mission Conference is scheduled for February 18-22, 2012 with keynote Speaker Dr. Crawford Loritts, Sr. Senior Pastor of Fellowship Bible Church of Roswell, Georgia. Dr. Loritts has been used of God in many ways to advance the Kingdom of God. He has planted churches (Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas and the Canton, Mississippi Bible Church), given direction to Campus Crusade for Christ as Associate Director of CCC-USA, mentored young Christian leaders, and written many publications. Perhaps he is best known for his speaking ministry.
Crawford’s speaking engagements have included evangelistic outreaches, conferences, conventions, churches, colleges, and seminaries. He is a frequent speaker for professional sports teams, including three Super Bowls and the NCAA Final Four Chapel. He has spoken to gatherings of senior military officers at the Pentagon. He is a featured speaker at Promise Keepers men’s conferences. He and his wife, Karen, are featured speakers at Family Life’s marriage and parenting conferences. He is a visiting professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Crawford is also the host of “Living A Legacy”, a daily radio program heard on 330 outlets by approximately 500,000 per week.

The 2011 Woodland Park Mission Conference, entitled “Hope For the Nations”, was held February 19-23, 2011 with guest speaker Ronnie Stevens. Ronnie Stevens has been described as a scholar, a teacher, and “a practitioner of missions”. A graduate of the University of Georgia and Dallas Theological Seminary, this Atlanta native brought to our 2008 mission conference the perspective of one who has lived and ministered both in the United States and internationally. He currently serves as Senior Pastor of Danube International Church and as a missionary with Entrust to Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
The 2010 Woodland Park Mission Conference, entitled “Jesus, The Great Physician”, was held February 19-21, 2010 with guest speaker Dr. David Stevens. David Stevens, MD, Executive Director of the Christian Medical and Dental Associations, is a leading spokesman for Christian doctors in America. He has conducted frequent media interviews, including appearances on CNN, NBC, BBC, NPR, FOX Family Channel, and Focus on the Family. He is an expert on bioethical and other healthcare issues.
As the former medical director for World Medical Mission, the medical relief arm of Samaritan’s Purse under Franklin Graham, he personally led medical teams into war zones in Somalia, Sudan, and Bosnia. He also served eleven years as a medical missionary in Kenya at the Tenwek Hospital, one of the great mission hospitals in the world. Dr. Stevens and his family reside in Johnson City, TN.
The 2009 Woodland Park Mission Conference, entitled “Defending the Truth”, was held February 21-25, 2009 with guest speaker Ron Carlson. Dr. Ron Carlson is the founder and president of Christian Ministries International. Founded in 1975, the ministry is committed to historic Biblical Christianity and the Word of God. Ron has a heart for evangelism through Christian apologetics and training Christians to gracefully “contend for their faith” (Jude 3). He has traveled and lectured in 79 countries and is widely acclaimed as one of the foremost authorities and lecturers in Christian apologetics and evangelism.
The 2008 Woodland Park Mission Conference, entitled “Not Ashamed of the Gospel”, was held February 16-20, 2008 with guest speaker Ronnie Stevens. Ronnie Stevens has been described as a scholar, a teacher, and “a practitioner of missions”. A graduate of the University of Georgia and Dallas Theological Seminary, this Atlanta native brought to our 2008 mission conference the perspective of one who has lived and ministered both in the United States and internationally. The 2007 Woodland Park Mission Conference, entitled “People Worship Something”, was held February 24-27, 2007 with guest speaker George Murray. George W. Murray is the president of Columbia International University which has prepared thousands of men and women for ministry in North America and abroad. A graduate of Columbia International University (BA 1967, MA 1981) and Trinity International University (DMiss 1995), Murray is an experienced missionary, teacher, preacher, writer, and evangelist. For 15 years he was a member of CIU’s board of trustees.
