Prayer

The Prayer Ministry of Woodland Park exists to inform and involve as many people as possible. The goal of the Prayer Ministry is to use a broad approach that gets those involved praying on a daily basis for key needs in the church. This is accomplished by several means:

• Prayer Focus Events: Occasionally, we hold prayer focus events to rally the entire body to a prayer cause for the purpose of seeking God’s intervention. We’ve seen God work in powerful ways over the years. Great is His faithfulness!
• Special Requests: The elders and pastors of Woodland Park Baptist Church also encourage the practice of James 5:14-15, which encourages those with pressing prayer needs to request the elders of the church for a specific time of prayer and anointing. God has blessed these times of prayer in unique ways.
