School
of Discipleship (SOD)

The
School of Discipleship, or SOD, is a set of elective
courses offered during the months of September
to May on Sunday evenings, Wednesday mornings
(for ladies), and Wednesday evenings. Drawing
from the idea of the good soil mentioned in Jesus’
parable of the sower, SOD classes seek to equip
believers in their personal walk with God, encouraging
them to live lives of fruitfulness and moving
them toward ministry.
Elective courses and locations vary each Fall,
Winter, and Spring quarter, but topics often
range from missions and financial studies to
marriage preparation, men’s Bible studies, and
support groups like Grief Share and Divorce Care.
