The Student Ministry of Woodland Park exists to lead teenagers into a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ and to equip them to make disciples. The ministry strives to properly present the teachings of Jesus Christ in a way that is meaningful and relevant to students through approaches such as teaching, music, small groups, service projects, camps, mission trips, and various other events.
In today's culture, it is not an easy task to rear godly teenagers. The Student Ministry desires to come alongside parents and assist them in their God-given mandate of raising godly teens who will impact the next generation for Christ.
Ways to get involved in the Youth Ministry include:
Bible
Fellowships
Each Sunday morning the Jr. High students (grades 7-8) meet in
Room 127 and Sr. High students (grades 9-12) meet in
Room 140 at 9:00 AM. After a student-led time of praise, there is a teaching time with Jake Mueller (Jr. High) and

Upcoming Fall Schedule
Sunday Nights
LIFEchange University will offer students an opportunity to choose from a variety of elective subjects or areas of training that will aid in their personal growth or preparation for sharing the Gospel. Classes will consist of offerings such as drama, video editing, praise team leadership, and sound engineering. In addition to these hands-on classes, there will be study style options for different age groups.
Wednesday Nights
WildLIFE - specifically geared for students in grades 7-8, it has it all, food, games, praise, and teaching.
LIFEfocus - offers a discussion based time around the Word and real life issues where a student can come and learn how the Bible is relevant to our everyday needs.
LIFEgroups - are small groups made up of high school students who have committed for the school year to a focused time of study, prayer, fellowship, and accountability. Applications are available during June and July with interviews in August. Groups are led by upperclassmen and an additional adult leader from the student ministry leadership team. Groups will meet in homes as well as comfortable places around the church. Every fourth week each group gets their hands dirty in ministry, serving in places around the community.
