The Local Outreach Mission Team at Woodland Park has a busy schedule ahead. We prayerfully ask for support from the WPBC family during these upcoming events (listed below) as we seek to proclaim the LOVE and GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST to those in our community who are impoverished.

Workers are needed for each event to serve in children's ministry, evangelism, prayer, and cooking. If you would like to help, please contact the Mission Ministry at 423.899.9186 x133.

Sunday, Dec. 14 Christmas Special and Coffee Shoppe

As a church, we want to be more intentional about creating opportunities to make Him known. Realizing that many of you may invite neighbors or unchurched family members to join you for our Christmas music special on Sunday night, December 14th, we want to provide you with an environment that would allow more than just an evening program. We want to come along side you to make your guests’ experience as comfortable and meaningful as possible. We would also like to give you a casual chance to talk about the message of the program with them in an unforced way.

Following the December 14th evening service, as a very special “Guest Welcome” we are encouraging those who have brought guests to join them and continue the discussion about Christ in a special “Coffee Shoppe @ Christmas.” We are converting the room normally used by our youth (Room 240) into a coffee shop. It will be open to our guests (and their hosts) for service (no costs involved) following the special Christmas program. Begin praying now about who God would have you bring.

Sunday, Dec. 21 - Christmas Outreach for Single Mothers

Woodland Park will again host single mothers and their children at WPBC. We will help to meet their physical needs by providing groceries, Christmas gifts, and toiletries during this season.
