Sunday

Sunday morning is the time that we meet together to worship and praise and then join with smaller groups in Bible Study and caring for one another. We encourage and are encouraged by the Word of God but also through our interaction with one another. We provide two Sunday morning services beginning at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM, which offer an opportunity to worship through song, the Word, and fellowship. Our morning services meet in the Worship Center.

We also offer a Sunday evening Worship Service that features the same message as Sunday morning but in a relaxed format. The service is design to allow more room for growth in the Sunday morning services and to encourage serving in the body. The evening service is held in room 140.

February 5, 12 - Dr. Wayne A. Barber

    • pastor_wbarber_web Wayne was affirmed as Senior Pastor by the church body on February 13, 2011. Wayne had previously served as Woodland Park’s Senior Pastor from October 1981 until July 1999. During those 18 years, a great maturing of the local body took place, as the Word of God was preached with power and practical simplicity. Ministries were established and expanded, accompanied by a keen understanding of the presence and power of “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:29).  For the past 9 years, Wayne has been the Sr. Pastor of Hoffmantown Church, Albuquerque, NM.

February 19 - Dr. Crawford Loritts

    • crawford_loritts_web Dr. Loritts is the keynote speaker for Woodland Park’s 2012 Mission Conference, February 19-22. Dr. Loritts is the Senior Pastor of Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, GA. He has been used of God in many ways to advance the Kingdom of God. He has planted churches (Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas and the Canton, Mississippi Bible Church), given direction to Campus Crusade for Christ as Associate Director of CCC-USA, mentored young Christian leaders, and written many publications. Perhaps he is best known for his speaking ministry. Crawford’s speaking engagements have included evangelistic outreaches, conferences, conventions, churches, colleges, and seminaries.
