Our Mission

Woodland Park exists to encourage surrenderequip believers, and engage our world for the glory of God.

If we are faithful to our mission, we will grow disciples who make disciples.  John 15:7-8 describe characteristics of growing disciples:

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.

The disciple of Christ:
Abides in Christ—remains, stays, resides, continues in—speaks of connection to, dependence upon, and continuance in Christ—To be united to Jesus, to rely on Jesus, and to remain in Jesus
Allows His Word to abide in them—Christ’s utterances—specific commands of God’s Word—the teachings of Christ
Prays according to the will of God and sees those prayers answered—praying in accordance with all that Christ stands for; consistent with His person and will
Brings glory to God
